Hi,
In case you don’t already know, my name is Siobhán, and I’m a sometime IT professional living in Cambridge. I’m in a long-term relationship with my sweetie, Louise.
My blogging habit started about fifteen years back in Second Life™, writing about day-to-day gripes and moans in-world, later adding some real life posts and a few posts from other games I liked to play. Also I wrote some short fiction based in Eve Online™. This is mostly in the past though. I closed the Eve Online™ account some years ago and my appearances in Second Life™ are few and far between. Nowadays it’s mostly real life posts or reviews of things that have caught my interest.
I’m currently working for myself providing technical support on an ad-hoc basis to anyone who needs it, and for the past few years, prior to moving away, did voluntary work for a local IT training centre in Camden. I’m open to offers of gainful employment however. My recently used skills are mostly in the training and technical support fields, but I started out as a developer and still have plenty of programming experience, even if it is a bit rusty by now. If you want to know more, then take a look at my CV (updated June 2015).
For fun, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing computer games and cooking. I also like to go out with friends. I love wine (though I am by no means an expert) and good beers. I prefer my food spicy, though I’m always open to new tastes (within reason).
I can also be found at Steam, Discord (for now) and Mastodon.
