There is so much I wanted to do today by the time Louise got home from work, but most of them required a lot of preparation and in some cases shopping. Unfortunately, I was unwell over the weekend†, and while I managed (mostly) to do what I needed to, any extras were pushed to the side. (more…)

Many apologies for not posting anything this weekend as I had planned. I’ve been suffering from headaches which I originally thought were due to alcohol but now seem to be more like caffeine withdrawal. Also it’s been hot in the house overnight so much dehydration.
Anyway, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible, by which I mean hopefully later today or tomorrow.

I’m Back… again

You may (or may not I suppose) have noticed that I’m back in the land of blogging, and that most of my recent posts have been Elite: Dangerous related. It gives me something semi-regular to blog about when real life isn’t being interesting enough. However, it’s not all I’ll be blogging about, and I’ll tag/categorise it when I do. See you all around.
Recovery’s a bitch
Just so you know, I’m bored. It’s not so much that I have nothing to do, but that I can’t really do any of it. It’s uncomfortable even to sit in a chair for very long (though thick cushions help), so I end up back on my bed which is suboptimal. (more…)
With Apologies…
This blog seems to be getting loading problems. I’ve seen it and some of you have seen it too. I think it’s due to database caching, but I’m not sure. I am looking into it, but since it’s at a shared hosting provider there’s a limit to what I can see.
I’ve upgraded the cache and started a rebuild, so hopefully things will improve. Meantime, please bear with me. I’m hoping I don’t have to change hosting providers.
