So we’re going on holiday soon and well, I wanted to carry a few less cables around with us, partly to save weight (not that it’s much) but also to reduce the chances of them getting lost in the hotel room or while out and about. With all this in mind I decided to get a USB-C SD Card reader so that I could upload photos from our cameras to my tablet (Google Pixel C) and thence to this (or Lou’s blog). What a nightmare!

As 2014 draws to an end, my thoughts turn to the new year, but also and perhaps more so, to the old year we’re just leaving. What have I achieved? What has changed in my life? The French Connection
Warning: Photo heavy. On Friday 20th June, 2014 at about 2pm, Louise and I headed off to St. Pancras International for the first leg of our French Adventure 2014. We ate a lunch at the Betjeman Arms and meandered over to the check-in for Eurostar. No sooner had we got through than they announced that the train was boarding. Next stop, Paris Gare du Nord.
